This time I came to Yancheng to attend an industry exchange conference and chose the Golden Eagle Hotel Yancheng by Julong Lake. I originally thought it would be convenient and save commuting time, but I didn't expect the hotel's service details to hit the nail on the head, making it the most comfortable stay experience for me in recent business trips.
As soon as I drove to the hotel entrance, the doorman quickly stepped forward to help open the car door and took the heavy suitcase with conference materials in my hand. Before I could speak, he took the initiative to ask for my reservation name. When checking in, the front desk staff learned that I had a morning meeting the next day and specially arranged a high-rise room closest to the elevator for me. They were afraid that I wouldn't be able to find my way, so they even arranged for the staff to take me to the door of the room. On the way, they carefully told me about the breakfast supply time, the location of the gym and conference room, and even casually mentioned the information I needed to bring the next day and left it in the car. As soon as I turned around, the staff took the initiative to pick it up from the parking lot.
On the night I checked in, I was working on the PPT in my room until late at night. I accidentally fell at the bathroom door and let out two soft moans in pain. The housekeeping lady on the 26th floor who passed by immediately knocked on the door and brought me iodine and band aids, as well as a warm cup of honey water. Before leaving, she repeatedly reminded me to call the front desk if I felt any discomfort, as they were on duty 24 hours a day. After I mentioned to the front desk, a staff member delivered the packed breakfast to my room door within ten minutes. There was not only Yancheng special egg cake I loved, but also hot soybean milk and a small piece of fruit. In the evening, I made an appointment with a client to discuss matters at the lobby bar. The waiter served softly throughout the entire process, and the timing of adding water was just right. They didn't disturb us excessively and were able to respond to our needs at any time. Before leaving, they even took a photo for us proactively, and the sense of service was just right.
On the third day of my stay, which happened to be my birthday and I had forgotten about it myself, the hotel noticed through the reservation information. When I returned to my room in the evening, there was already a delicate handwritten greeting card and a customized small cake on the table. There was also a small bottle of local lotus root powder next to it, which was a birthday surprise specially prepared by the hotel. When I checked out, the front desk staff had already sorted out the invoice and itinerary for me in advance. They even put the meeting materials I had stored at the front desk in a file bag and escorted me to the hotel entrance. They helped me put my luggage in the car before waving goodbye.
Throughout the entire stay, there were no deliberate formalities or excessive disturbances, and every service was just right at the guests' needs. Compared to many high-end hotels that rely solely on decoration to maintain the atmosphere, Golden Eagle Hotel Yancheng's service of doing every little thing well is the most memorable warmth. This time, my family and I drove to Yancheng for a short trip. When we were planning our itinerary in advance, we immediately fell in love with Golden Eagle Hotel Yancheng. However, after staying there, we realized that the most comfortable experience of this trip came mostly from this hotel hidden by Julong Lake.
The hotel is located at 268 Jiefang South Road, Yandu New District, which is very convenient. It's not long after getting off the Yancheng Expressway, and the entrance is the Golden Eagle Heaven and Earth Square, facing the Julong Lake Scenic Area across the street. As soon as we parked the car, the front desk staff took the initiative to register the license plate and told us that we could enter and exit the P2 parking lot of the Golden Eagle Mall for free during our stay. The elevator in the parking lot could also directly reach the hotel lobby, so we didn't have to drag our luggage and take detours. It was too friendly for self driving tourists.
When checking in, the receptionist heard that this was our first time in Yancheng and directly helped us upgrade to a high-rise lake view room for free. As soon as I opened the door, I was amazed. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent lighting. The view from the 28th floor could almost overlook half of Julong Lake. In the evening, when I opened the curtains, the lights of Julong Lake spread out along the surface of the lake. The TV tower in the distance lit up warmly, and even the city night scenery of Yancheng could be seen in full view. The room was cleaned spotlessly. When the housekeeping lady on the 26th floor passed by and saw me accidentally fall, she immediately brought iodine and band aids. This sudden kindness instantly relieved most of the exhaustion from the journey.
The most unforgettable thing is the hotel's buffet breakfast, priced at 68 yuan per person, which is full of Yanfu specialties. The fresh Yancheng egg cake is the taste of the lane when I was young. The soup of fish soup noodles is not enough to drink two bowls. The small Wonton is thin in skin and tender in filling. The Chinese and Western style meals are full. It is served from 6:30 in the morning to 11:00 on the weekend. Sleep in and have a slow lunch. There is no need to rush. In the evening, if you don't want to go to a hotel, the Tianxiangge Chinese Restaurant downstairs orders some innovative Huaiyang Cuisine, which tastes authentic and fresh, so you don't have to go out to find the online restaurant.
Living here for a few days, traveling and having fun are particularly worry free. Going downstairs, you can directly stroll through the Golden Eagle Shopping Mall, where you can find a variety of trendy restaurants, chain restaurants, and trendy shops. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Julong Lake Park, and at night, you can take a walk along the lake to enjoy the breeze. The nearby Yandu District Museum and Water Margin Culture Museum can be reached within a ten minute walk, so there is no need to travel long distances to take your child to explore exhibitions. When you want to relax, go for a two lap swim in the hotel's free indoor swimming pool. The water quality is clean and there aren't many people around. When you get tired, go back to your room and collapse on the sofa by the window, staring at the lake view for a while and relaxing.
The only small detail is that the TV size in the room is not too large, but fortunately it supports mobile screen mirroring, and watching a TV show in bed at night does not affect the experience at all. This trip to Yancheng, Golden Eagle Hotel Yancheng provided us with a much more comfortable experience than expected. It did not have excessive marketing gimmicks like internet celebrities, but it did everything in place, including location, service, and details. Next time I come to Yancheng, it will definitely be my first choice to stay here.
